More than 75 nations were represented, making this the most international event of the year for hydro and dam engineers. The event was organized and hosted by Aqua-Media International Ltd, publishers of the bi-monthly International Journal on Hydropower & Dams. The conference comprised 33 technical sessions, including nine high level panel discussions.

Two technical study tours were organized to follow the event, giving delegates the opportunity to visit large pumped-storage schemes (Dlouhe Strane and Dalesice), small hydro plants, and the country's largest dam, Orlik.

Aqua~Media was pleased to work in collaboration with CZECH-IN, which handled many of the ground arrangements, including the study tours, excursions, social events and accommodation bookings.
